Trivandrum: Festival Special Train No. 06110 Thiruvananthapuram Central–Tambaram Weekly Express and Train No. 06109 Tambaram–Thiruvananthapuram Central Weekly Express have been extended for the convenience of passengers travelling during the Puja festive season, as detailed below.
Train No. 06110 Thiruvananthapuram Central–Tambaram Weekly Special will operate on Wednesdays, from 16th September to 28th October, 2026 (7 trips).
Train No. 06109 Tambaram–Thiruvananthapuram Central Weekly Special will operate on Thursdays, from 17th September to 29th October, 2026 (7 trips).
Coach Composition: Two 2-Tier AC, Four 3-Tier AC, Four 3-Tier AC Economy, Six Sleeper, Second Class coaches, 4 AC 3-Tier coaches, 4 AC 3-Tier Economy coaches, 2 AC 2-Tier coaches, 6 Sleeper Class and Two 2 Brake Van/Power Car coaches.
Meanwhile, to facilitate travel for more passengers, the temporary additional Second Class Sleeper Coach permitted for the Ananthapuri Express has been extended for Train No. 20635 Chennai Egmore – Kollam Junction Daily Express (leaving Chennai Egmore up to 16th September, 2026) and Train No. 20636 Kollam Junction – Chennai Egmore Daily Express (leaving Kollam Junction up to 17th September, 2026).
